Hazardous Household Wastes (HHW) are various products that contain ingredients that are flammable, corrosive, combustible, toxic, and\/or reactive. HHW day accepts these items for disposal at no additional fee. This event has a new location, Rueben Williams Sports complex (formerly Lake Maude Park).<\/p>\n
These items should never be tossed in the trash or recycled, and will be accepted at event:<\/p>\n
Batteries (household, auto, marine)
\nCleaning Supplies
\nCooking Oils
\nElectronics (T.V., computers, monitors, etc.)
\nFluorescent bulbs and compact fluorescent bulbs
\nGasoline, diesel, gas cylinders, etc.
\nPaint, thinners, and solvents
\nPesticides, herbicides, and fertilizer
\nPool Chemicals
\nTires
\nUsed motor oil, hydraulic oil, etc.<\/p>\n
